Puntland Maritime Academy will have the following administration team who will manage day-to-day activities of the academy as well as implement the goals and purposes or policies:-
- Director: The director will be the highest administrative person of the academy and he/she will be appointed by the President.
- Deputy Director: The deputy director will be the second highest administrative person of the academy and he/she will be appointed by the Minister of Ports & Marine Transportation.
- Subordinate staff: There will be subordinate staff such as the admin, registrar and academic team.
